I've been working in
software engineering for the past 7 years, five of
those are in Microsoft Cooperation. Currently,
I am a software design engineer in SQL Server
Replication & Synchronization team. Before moving to
SQL, I worked in designing and developing the next
generation File Replication for Windows which
shipped in Windows 2003 R2 under the name DFSR
(Distributed File System Replication). In parallel,
I owned maintaining the legacy code for the old replication engine
(FRS). Well, you can say that I am pretty much
involved in major synchronization engines that
Microsoft has shipped past and present.
The
idea of building a web site to use to reflect on
sync experience has been brewing in my mind for a
while now. My biggest motivation at this point is
the new synchronization framework that I am working
on for ADO.NET. This is my first time to work in a
library where my audience are developers and not
administrators. I am super excited about the new
challenge and would like to use this site to open a
channel with developers and exchange ideas, code,
etc.
Please feel free to email me with your suggestions.
