Entrepreneur, architect, developer and then some. I
started
www.raveable.com in
2008 to help travelers
find the best hotel
for their vacation very quickly an very easily.
Until Raveable, fellow travelers used to read
lengthy reviews and jump from one travel site to
another wading through a sea of conflicting
information. Raveable makes clear and concise
recommendations based on millions of reviews,
ratings and opinions. In my role as CTO, I designed
and developed the underlying semantic engine for
analyzing guest reviews, defined the overall system
architecture and helped manage the offshore
development efforts.
Prior to Raveable.com, I was a development lead at
Microsoft Corporation. I led the team developing the
next generation social networking for Windows
Mobile. Before that I played leading role in the
design and development of Microsoft Sync Framework,
Sync Services for ADO.NET, SQL Server Replication
and Windows File Replication.
The
idea of building a web site to use to reflect on
sync experience has been brewing in my mind for a
while now. My biggest motivation at this point is
the new synchronization framework that I am working
on for ADO.NET. This is my first time to work in a
library where my audience are developers and not
administrators. I am super excited about the new
challenge and would like to use this site to open a
channel with developers and exchange ideas, code,
etc.
Please feel free to email me with your suggestions.
